My client has set his VAT up from the wrong date and I cannot change it, or connect to HMRC online to submit VAT returns. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Hello Jo Morgan, thanks for posting on the Community page,  is there any previous filings on their QuickBooks, and if you have registered the client on your ASA or if the client submits for themselves? Is it their first filing on QB and you the accountant has registered them on your ASA, once MTD is connected the dates sync from hmrc.
