VAT Due doesnt match the figure in Box 5 on the VAT return?

The VAT due amount on the VAT summary page doesnt match the figure on the the VAT 100 Report Box 5?

Why is this? and when i submit the VAT return which figure will quickbooks submit?

Hi Helen142,

The VAT 100 report will not take into account any exceptions in the period.

Please run the VAT exception details report, the amount of exceptions should be the difference between the two figures.

The final figure QuickBooks submits is the amount shown on the taxes screen 'VAT DUE' and on the summary when clicking submit/prepare return.
