Vat exceptions

Hi,

are the vat exceptions automatically being added to the next return?

I just received a lot of invoices that covers previous period, and when I added them they are shown as exception.

Hi Marta80, thanks for joining the QB Community - exceptions are automatically generated on QuickBooks and will show on the current open return. Exceptions are generated when transactions which are dated prior to the end date of the most recent filed period in QuickBooks are added with a VAT code, or when a existing transaction from a filed period is edited (e.g. to remove, add, or change a VAT code). 🙂
