I am looking to create a report that gives me the transactions with VAT and transactions without VAT over a period of time- I need a total for each of these. This is not the VAT 100 report. Could anyone give advice please as to what report I need- ideally one report would be great!

I know how you can review the transactions with and without vat in a single report, koups.

The option to pull up a report that shows the entries with and without vat isn't available in QuickBooks Online. I have a workaround, though. You can run the Transaction Detail by Tax Code and No VAT transactions report, then export them into an Excel file to have a single spreadsheet.

Here's how:

  1. Click the Reports tab.
  2. Enter and select the report name you want to pull up first.
  3. Filter the Report period.
  4. Click the Export button.
  5. Select Export to Excel.
  6. Repeat the same steps for the other report.

I'd also suggest sending Feedback to our developer's team. You can do so by clicking the Gear icon and then selecting Feedback.
