VAT return coming up with an error message of invalid MTD end date

This error appears in MTD when the end date hasn't elapsed yet. You'll be unable to submit that specific VAT return. For example, if your end date is 31/10/2022, you can submit it on 1/11/2022. In your case, I suggest checking the end date of the period you're trying to file.
