Question

We do not file CIS Returns using QBO but why was it submitted to HMRC? We want to unfile this so that we can edit the CIS billing for our contractors.

Thanks for reaching out to the Community space, @bookkeepers-bion.

If you're referring to the CIS filings before August 8, 2020, it was marked as filed with 0 figures.

To help unfile the CIS returns, you may need to contact our Customer Care Team. They are the ones who can check your account in a secure environment and assist in unfiling the return.

To contact them, here's how:

  1. Go to Help at the top menu.
  2. Tap Contact Us.
  3. Enter your concern in the What can we help you with? field.
  4. Click Let's talk.
  5. Once done, select Start a chat or Get a callback option.
