We want to help you. However, we’re unable to provide more details on which codes to select since we're unable to give accounting advice. We can only guide you with the steps. You’ll want to consult with your accountant concerning this or contact HMRC.

Hello Ackaccounts-ack-

Welcome to he Community page,

If you have a look at this link here it tells you all about the different VAT codes and which one to select. If you are still unsure then reach out and speak to a trained accountant who will be able to advise which is the best code to use.

I've read the details for the VAT codes as suggested above, and I am still none the wiser.  My accountant said to zero rate it, using the same code I would for purchases from USA etc.  So that would be to use 0% Z.  But, doesn't Quickbooks have trained accountants who could help on questions such as this?  My accountant works mostly with local trades people, not international traders, and I would think quickbooks would be able to help.
