We can check the status of the submitted VAT return, mail16.
Let's log in to your QuickBooks account and please follow these steps:
- Go to the Taxes page.
- Click the VAT tab and then Returns.
- Filter to All returns.
- Check the STATUS column and it's successfully submitted if states that it's Approved by HMRC. You will be able to see the filing when you log into your HMRC account.
You can also take the suggestion provided by my colleague above to reach out to HMRC if you checked that the filing status is approved.
