Am i going mad?  I have registered for VAT and have been submitting all ok online for the last 2 qrts.  I have gone to do this quarter and I cant seem to find the VAT in the menus?  Should it be under Taxes, as there is nothing when I click this icon.  Can anyone help as to what I am doing wrong?

Thank you in advance

Hello @Tr45

There are times that your browser is full of frequently-accessed page resources, thus causing websites, like QuickBooks Online (QBO), to act weirdly. This can be the reason why you're unable to see the details of your VAT under the Taxes tab.

Let's consider logging into your QBO account using a private browser so we can isolate this issue. To do so:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Option P

If this works, you can clear your regular browser's cache so the system can start fresh. But if you get the same results while using a private browser, use a different browser instead.

Hello Tr45,

Thanks for reaching out to us on the Community page,

On the left hand side there should be a tab that says taxes, in there is where you do the vat submissions.

If you are not seeing the tab it could be a cache and cookies issue, the link below will help you do this.
