Why am I being asked to submit my VAT Return “with a spreadsheet”? I am MTD enabled and successfully submitted my last Return without a spreadsheet.

You'll want to check your MTD settings if it's disconnected or not. Let me guide you how.

1. Go to Taxes, then VAT tab.
2. Edit your VAT settings. 
3. Make sure your MTD is turned on.
