Bank account not updating in quickbooks. It takes a long time updating and then says something went wrong

bank account stopped updating in quickbooks the bank accont is correct. it wont update or dowload new transactions. not sure how to fix that. anyone can help? thank you

Have you tried opening your QBO account on private/incognito browser?

Welcome to Community!  I can understand the benefit of having the ability to upload and match your transactions so you can reconcile your accounts effortlessly is beneficial. However, our QuickBooks Online Development Team were aware of the recent situation causing a break in the connection to several banks over the past few days and this has now been resolved. 

 

For future reference, here's how to manually upload your transactions when this happens.

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click Help (?) in the upper right in QuickBooks Online > enter "Contact support" > select Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
