As a business owner, you may need to update your business name, phone number, or address in QuickBooks Online. New to Quickbooks and yet to find a solution after scouring the forums. As you can see in the photo, once I click "new" in chart of accounts to add an account, account type is greyed out. I can enter an account name, but can't save, and the account type dropdown doesn't function. I have QBO Simple Start--don't know if that's a contributing factor or not. Thank you in advance.
I tried changing my entry from debiting Opening balance equity to debiting Retained Earnings but changed my mind and I can't access the RE account to revert back my entry. Can anyone help please? Thanks.
