Hi there sharonrokimi,

I know that when owning a small business it's common to switch between suppliers that you use. Maybe you only use some once or twice a year, or maybe you've decided that you no longer want to use one. Having the ability to make suppliers that you don't use inactive, and then activate them again, is one of the many awesome functions that is available to you in QuickBooks Online. Let me go over how you can make your supplier active again.

  1. Hover over the Expenses tab from the left menu.
  2. Select Suppliers.
  3. Click the small Gear icon located just above the Action column.
  4. Check the box to Include inactive.
  5. Locate the supplier that you made inactive. Their name will have (deleted) in brackets.
  6. From the Action column, hit Make active.

Now the supplier that you marked as inactive has been made active again. It's as simple as that. If there are any other QuickBooks related questions you have, don't hesitate to reach out again here in the Community. I've got your back!
