How do I create a Folder in the shared documents section for my accountant?

Thanks for reaching out about sharing documents with your accountant. It's a great tool available in QuickBooks Online so you can pass information and necessary files to them without having to be in the same location as them. I can provide some information about the sharing of documents.

 

In the shared documents folder, there isn't the option to create subfolders. I can see that this would be a feature that you'd like to ee to help manage your files with your accountant. I recommend leaving this feedback in the system by clicking on the Gear Icon, then Feedback. The comments made in that section are taken into consideration when designing new features for the software.
