Can I have several icons on my desktop to enter several different QuickBooks companies?

I'm trying to find an easy way to access my companies in QB Desktop . I have several companies and right now I open one, and then use the Open Second Company option or Open New Company.  This is a bit cumbersome.  Is there a way to have icons on my desktop for easy access to each company?  Thanks.
