First time credit purchase by client

Last week I had a client pay by credit card, first time anyone ever did. So it’s been 5 full business days (not including weekend) so technically 7 days and I haven’t seen anything in my bank. Is this normal?

Welcome to Community!  QuickBooks Online Payments is a dynamic way to ensure your customers pay upon receipt.  I'd be happy to provide more information about the processing timeline, so you can receive your payments with confidence!

 

Typically your funds are deposited within five business days.  However, if you're new to QuickBooks Payments, it may take a bit longer while your merchant account is set up.  Following this, you should receive your deposits within two business days.  If you haven't received your deposits during the time frame provided, I encourage you to contact us, so we can look further into this from our end.

 

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?) Help in the upper right in QuickBooks Online > enter "Contact support" > hit Contact Us > provide a brief summary of your situation > hit Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
