For Purchase Orders and Invoices taxCodeRef.value is returned without taxCodeRef.name

Using the APIs for retrieve purchase orders, invoices and more, we are seeing that taxCodeRef.value is returned without taxCodeRef.name.

Based on the documentation you provide, it is expected both fields or neither of them.

Is it a bug in your system?

It's important that all your information is correctly entered on invoices and purchase orders. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to help you keep track of taxes on transactions so you know the amount to declare to the government. I can point you in the right direction for assistance.

 

For assistance with taxes not appearing correctly on the forms generated, I recommend reaching out to the QuickBooks Online support team outside of the Community. They'll be able to provide further assistance in making sure that the forms have the correct information displayed. You can reach them using these steps:

 

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
