I I just signed up for the 18 month free trial with quick books self employed and then when I was paying it my credit card, I realized there was a 1 dollar charge on my card and under my account it said that the next billing date was in one month. What is the $1.00 charge for?

Hello Ldudette,

It's great to hear that you're on top of your credit card charges and checking for anything unexpected. I also love that you're taking advantage of a free trial as it's the perfect way to discover what the program can do for your business.

QuickBooks' free trials are only offered for 30-day periods, so I'd like you to get in touch with the QuickBooks Self-Employed team to confirm your trial/subscription as well as the $1 charge that you're seeing on your card. That team will have the ability to look up your account and see what you've signed up for. Reach out to them by visiting our Contact Us page and clicking QuickBooks Self-Employed. Once you've sent your request, someone will be in touch within one business day.

All the best to you. :)

Hello, medulla2801.

To further investigate the charge, we’ll need to pull up your account information. To do so, I’d recommend contacting our support team to perform the investigating process on a private environment.
