Hi im trying to share self employed with my accountant. But on the gear menu under about you there is no "accountant" option

At this moment, QuickBooks Self-Employed is a single-user software and the Canadian version of the program doesn't include the ability to add an accountant user. To share your information with your accountant, you can export your reports and transactions for them to review and advise you on. Here're some articles to assist you with that.

I also recommend speaking with your accountant to see if there's another way you can share your books with them so they can help you moving forward. In case you'd benefit from additional options in adding users, feel free to submit feedback directly to our QuickBooks Self-Employed product development team.
