How can you change the phone number for a User once it's been set up?

QBO sends a text to a phone number for verification. They originally included the home phone number but want to change to the cell phone.

I'm glad to hear you're using your phone number as part of the verification process to reinforce security in your account. QuickBooks Online is all about giving you control over your settings. I'll be happy to guide you with this.

 

Updating the phone number in your user profile is a pretty straightforward process.

  1. Sign in QuickBooks Online.
  2. Select your profile icon next to Settings .
  3. Select Manage your Intuit Account. This opens the Intuit Account Manager.
  4. Choose the Sign in & security menu.
  5. Go to the Phone section.
  6. Make your changes.
  7. When you're done, select Save.
