How do i add accountant

Says I can only have one person on my account, and won't allow me to add my accountant unless I do it on my phone, where I started the process of using this app. I can't find a way to add the new user

It's vital you have the tools needed in order to manage your company's books. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to help you give your accountant access to your books so they can help with managing them correctly. I can point you in the right direction for where you can add your accountant.

 

QuickBooks Online EasyStart, Essentials, Plus and Advanced have the ability to invite at least one accountant, and there are two areas in which this can be done while logging into QuickBooks from a computer. If you're using QuickBooks Self-Employed, there isn't the ability to add an accountant for that software. To add an accountant in QuickBooks Online, you can follow these two options:

 

Option 1

  1. Click on the Gear Icon
  2. Select Manage users
  3. Go to the Accounting Firms section
  4. Click on the option to add a new firm
  5. Enter your accountant's contact info

Option 2

  1. Go to the My Accountant tab
  2. Enter your accountant's contact info
