Hi redlineconcretep.

Being able to set up boundaries for what your users can see is one of the ways QuickBooks Online lets you keep your account secure. I'd be happy to go over the user types and what you can see with each.

Each user type has different access levels and the best part is they are easy to set up. The different user types are as followed: Primary Admin, Company Admin, Standard User, Reports only and Time tracking only. Each of these have different levels of access with Standard being able to be customized while Reports only and Time tracking only don't count towards your user amounts.

In order to set up and customize the users access you can follow the steps in this article. If the level of customization isn't what you're looking for I recommend sending feedback to our development team to let them know what you wish to customize. You can send feedback by following these steps:

  1. Select the Gear icon at the top, then Feedback.
  2. Enter your comments or product suggestions. Then select Next to submit feedback.

If you have any questions let us know and we'd be happy to help!
