Question

How do I make changes to Advanced Settings if I can't get past pop-up window asking to update user profile. If I 'x' the pop-up, QB freezes & needs to be restarted.

The details I add in the Pop-up are reflected on the main form, but it won't move past this.

Welcome to Community!  QuickBooks Online is a powerful program that enables you to accomplish your daily bookkeeping tasks with confidence.  It's important that you're able to manage your books effortlessly.  I'd be glad to assist!

 

To prevent QuickBooks from freezing or lagging, I suggest clearing cache on your browser, if you haven't done so already.  This will improve system performance and increase loading times.  To manage your company settings, you'll need to log into the account as the Primary Admin.  If you're not currently set up as an admin user, you'll need to reach out to the Primary Admin on the account, to set up user roles and access rights.  Should you require additional assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us outside of Community.

 

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?) Help in the upper right in QuickBooks Online > enter "Contact support" > hit Contact Us > provide a brief summary of your situation > hit Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
