How do I upgrade my subscription to include payroll? Apple said I have to cancel and wait until the trial is over and then purchase the package I want.

Welcome to Community!  It's great to hear that you're interested in QuickBooks Online Payroll, so you can pay your staff with confidence.  I'd be happy to help!

To get started, you need to transfer your billing to QuickBooks, or open a new company by following this link.  Once you create a new account, you can export your data and import to your new QuickBooks Online product.
