I am trying to renew my subscription since 2 days and I can’t do it.

Thanks for reaching out. Making sure your QuickBooks program is active is important for you to get your work done and to keep your books up-to-date. I'll be happy to help you renew your subscription so you can get back to running your business.

As soon as you sign into an expired QuickBooks Online account, you should be prompted to resubscribe. If not, follow the steps below.

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Select the Gear icon ⚙ at the upper right.
  3. Choose Account and Settings
  4. Select the Company tab and make sure you have a complete setup for Address 
  5. Click the Billing and subscription tab (below the company tab)then Resubscribe, and enter the updated billing information.
  6. Select Subscribe.

It's important to note that the Billing and subscription tab is currently available only in the web version of QuickBooks Online (not the mobile app), so ensure you're log in using a computer browser.
 

If you're not seeing the Billing and subscription tab even after login using a computer browser, there are a couple of reasons that could be happening. The first is that you originally subscribed through either the Apple or Google Play store. If that's the case, please check your app store to update your billing information.

 

The other reason it may be missing is that you're under your accountant's billing. In that case, get in touch with your accountant to reactivate your account.
