Question

I am unable to connect my bank account to QuickBooks and it does not tell me why. I've connected to Quickbooks in the past with Quickbooks Self-Employed with no issues.

Would there be a specific reason why it cannot connect? Like the address doesn't look the same as the bank account's info?

Try opening your QBO account on any private/incognito browser.

Making sure you're able to connect your bank account without any issues is our main goal, @candidcleaningrd,

I want to ensure this is resolved and you can resume your services again. Before anything else, can you please tell us the bank name that's connected in QuickBooks Self-Employed? I need this information to check if there's an ongoing issue for your financial institution.

In the meantime, you can still connect your bank with us manually. You can upload the transactions from the bank. Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon and choose Imports.
  2. For accounts that are not yet connected for online banking, tap the import transactions link at the bottom.
  3. Press Browse to find the CSV file of the bank entries.
  4. After this, all the transactions will be listed at the bottom. Make sure to map the data correctly.
  5. Hit Continue then Done.

I'm adding a few related articles below to guide you further with the process:
