Question

I have an account on my iPhone but now want to access info on my iPad. Signed in with same user ID and password but it says “Account does not include access”.

Hi there usercally-mdc,

Having access to your QuickBooks Online account via multiple access points is a great way to keep track of your books on the go. Once you have an account, you'll be able to use the same login credentials to sign into it from other devices. I want to make sure that you're able to do this.

When you receive a message like "Account does not include access," that typically means that you're logging into the wrong version of QuickBooks. When you're using the app, it's important that you're choosing the QuickBooks Accounting app. If you're trying to to enter your login credentials to QuickBooks Self-Employed's app, it won't work because they're two separate programs.

Likewise, if you're looking to access QuickBooks through the iPad browser, make sure you're choosing QuickBooks Online from the Sign In window when you visit qbo.ca.

Give that a shot and see if the error still occurs. If you're still having trouble, I recommend contacting support so that an agent can take a closer look at this with you. There are a few ways to get in contact and you can choose your preferred option below.
