Question

I have an active subscription but when I try to access it on my laptop it’s won’t work and says I need to update my subscription???

Welcome to Community!  QuickBooks Online is a dynamic cloud based accounting software allowing you to work from anywhere.  It's important that your subscription is active and up to date.  I'll be happy to provide some insight here so you can get back to what you love!

 

When logging into your account, the message your getting to update your subscription may be due to a couple of things.  If you selected the option for a free 30-day trial, that period may have expired, for which you'll need to update the subscription by providing your payment method.  Otherwise, you may be signing into a secondary account created previously in association to the email address or user ID.  It's always best to be completely confident that you're accessing the desired account, and for this reason I suggest contacting us, so we can look into this from our end and ensure you're back to business as soon as possible.

 

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?) Help in the upper right in QuickBooks Online > enter "Contact support"> click Contact Us > give a brief summary of your situation > hit Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
