Hello lethbridgerv,

Thanks for reaching out about merging your Online account with your Desktop account. I'll be happy to share more information on this so you can get back to doing what you enjoy the most.

At this time, there isn't a direct process which merges your Online account and the Desktop account. The good news is QuickBooks offers the flexibility of being able to export your data. Depending on the data you would've exported, you can sync it with the Online account from Desktop or vice versa. If you'd like to convert your data from Desktop to Online, check out this helpful article here: Move your QuickBooks Desktop file to QuickBooks Online. The article goes over the necessary steps needed for you to transfer your data.

In case you have questions about this, don't hesitate to reach back to me in the comments below. I'm here to help.

You should not migrate data from QBD to your QBO account. It will overwrite your 16 months data in QBO. You may utilize a migration tool. ie. TPExporter for Desktop, TPImporter for Online
