Hi marie54,

Welcome to Community!  QuickBooks Online subscriptions have usage limits that vary by product.  Although some of the user types aren't counted toward the user limit, it's important to know the limits in other areas of your account.  I'd be happy to provide more information here!

When you reach a usage limit for items such as accounts or users, you can make the necessary changes to reduce them.  For example, if you have accounts listed in your Chart of accounts that you no longer use, I recommend making them inactive.  Here's how;

1. Click on Settings ⚙ in the top right and select Chart of accounts

2. Locate an account no longer used and use the ▼ dropdown menu in the Action column to select Make inactive

3. Proceed with the above steps for additional accounts you no longer use

I'd also suggest editing your list of Classes, Locations, Tags and Billable users, to ensure you're within the usage limits.  You can access the lists effortlessly from Settings ⚙ > All lists.  Click here to learn more about billable users that count toward user limits and usage limits by subscription.
