I need to change my gst number as I typed in the wrong number and it won’t show on my iPhone .. how do I do this from an iPhone ?

Hello there, 

 

The QuickBooks Online mobile app is a great tool for any on-the-go business owner! Although it's not equipped with everything that you have access to in the browser version of the program, this condensed version of your account will allow you to do the most essential tasks anywhere your business takes you.

 

Editing your GST number will have to be done through the browser version of QuickBooks Online. You can still access this from your mobile device, however you'll have to login using your phones best supported browser by visiting qbo.ca.

 

Once you're logged in, here's what you'll do: 

1. Click the Taxes tab on the left navigation menu.

2. Select Sales Tax. 

3. Click Manage Sales Tax.

4. Click the small triangle drop-down menu next to Add rate for the tax agency you have to edit.

5. Click Edit Agency Settings.

6. Enter your GST number.

7. Click Save.

Hi omautopack. It's important you're able change your GST number, phone number,  and the address on your account. I'd be glad to show you how this can be done:

 

To change the GST number, follow these steps: click Taxes from the left menu > Manage sales tax > from the Tax agencies tab click Edit agency settings.
