Question

I renewed my subscription but it didnt update my account. I used the same email address. How do I credit it to my existing account?

Welcome to Community!  Renewing your QuickBooks Online subscription, ensures you're back to business, and able to pick up where you left off.  However, I do see how having other QuickBooks companies can cause an unexpected outcome, when you need to resubscribe.  I'll be happy to help!

 

When you sign into your QuickBooks Online account, you should see a list of companies, when you have more than one.  It's important to select the correct company, so your payment is applied accurately.  Although you cannot transfer the billing to another company, I recommend following this link, to view which account the payment was applied to, so you can cancel that company if needed.  If the payment was made recently, your payment method will be automatically refunded.  You will see a notification, when you follow the steps to cancel the account.  Then log into your QuickBooks account and ensure you're in the correct company before proceeding with updating your payment method.
