Question

I switched from QB Self-employed to QB online. How do I remove the company of the old QB Self-employed and only have one active company?

Hello userdelishcore,

It's awesome to hear that you made the switch from QuickBooks Self-Employed to QuickBooks Online. Both of these cloud versions of QuickBooks are great for many business needs, and I hope that QuickBooks Online is a good fit for you. I know it's important to only be paying for the services you need, and I can guide you on how to manage the QuickBooks Self-Employed subscription.

Since you no longer need it, you can cancel your QuickBooks Self-Employed subscription. This ensures that that subscription is no longer active and you're paying only for the subscription you want. There are a few ways to cancel QuickBooks Self-Employed depending on how you subscribed, so I'd like to direct you to this article to see the steps for each situation: Cancel your QuickBooks Self-Employed subscription

Once you cancel, you shouldn't be charged any longer and you'll be good to move forward with just your QuickBooks Online subscription. If you'd like clarification about this process, don't hesitate to ask.

Have a great week.
