I tried the free trial, decided to buy a subscription and it made me a new account. I wanted to apply the subscription to the account I already started, not start over

It's vital that you have the correct subscription associated with the right account in order to be able to see your data. Quickbooks Online is great to be able to keep track of your books from anywhere with an internet connection. I can provide some information about subscribing after a trial.

If you've subscribed from our Plans and prices page, this creates a new account that has no transactions in it. In order to subscribe to the trial, you'd need to log in to that specific account and subscribe from within the settings. I can provide some steps to accomplish this:

1. If still logged into the blank company, click on the button in the top left corner that has the first letter of your name, then select Sign out.
2. Navigate to the QuickBooks Online website, then select the Sign-in option, and QuickBooks Online.
3. Enter your username and password, then select your company from within the choices provided.
4. Once logged into the company that has your data, navigate to the Gear Icon, then Account and settings.
5. Select the Billing and subscription section, then subscribe.

Once this is complete, you'll be able to use the company with your data in it. To cancel the company that doesn't have your data, you can follow these steps to cancel.
