Question

In our QBO Accountant, the "Standard no access with account management" level of access for ALL of our users is greyed out. Do you know how to use this access level? TIA

A user that I gave this level of access a while ago still has this, but I cannot replicate this for other users, even though I see this option in the dropdown.
Thank you in advance.

Hi dangga00,

Thanks for reaching out in the QuickBooks Community. I'll be glad to point you in the right direction with managing users on your account.

QuickBooks offers a variety of user types that help you accomplish your goals with ease.  You can grant roles using the customization options available. The Standard user can work with customers, sales, suppliers, and expenses on the account. Here's a helpful article that shows you how to: Manage user roles or permissions. Here's how to edit a user's role:

1. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Manage users.
2. Select the Users tab, then find the user you want to edit.
3. Select Edit from the Action column.
4. Select from the existing custom or QuickBooks roles.
5. Select Save changes. If you edit permissions after selecting the role, you’ll be asked to save a new custom role. Enter a Custom role name and Role description, then select Save role
