Maximum Number of Users error

Recently I had to change work stations and reinstalled QB. My company has 4 licenses and the program is installed on 4 PCs but when I try to login at the new work station I receive an error about exceeded users.

 

Are QB licenses being linked to the work stations they were installed on? I need some insight on how to fix this ASAP so I can access our company file again.

It's important that all your transactions are entered correctly for your books to be well balanced. QuickBooks Desktop is a great tool able to help you keep track of sales and expenses so you know the profit of your business. I can point you in the right direction for assistance with your subscription and users.

 

In order to resolve this error showing too many users, I recommend reaching out to the QuickBooks Desktop support team outside of the Community. They'll be able to view your account with you in a secure setting to make sure all is correctly set up to be able to use the program on the devices you need. You can reach them using the options provided in the QuickBooks Desktop software support policies.
