My quickbooks desktop that I still need to access from time to time says expired, what do I do?

I am catching up on my taxes. I migrated from quickbooks pro on my desktop to quickbooks online last May. Because my books were hugely behind the migration was messy. Now it won't let me open my desktop saying it's expired. How do I access it?

If you get an error when trying to open your QuickBooks Desktop software, I recommend reaching out to the QuickBooks Desktop support team outside of the Community. They'll be able to verify your software is correctly registered in the system to be able to open the program.
