Hi there cilanne-jagcater,

It's vital that the correct members of your team have access to your company's QuickBooks Online account so that the books can be well maintained. QuickBooks Online Essentials and Plus have the ability to invite more than one user so that multiple people can have access to your books. I can provide some information about account security.

For your own security, it's best not to share your username and password with anyone. If your supervisor does need access to the books, you can invite them to the account as long as you have a QuickBooks Online Essentials or Plus plan, as they both have the ability to support multiple users. You can follow the steps in this article about how to Add and manage users in QuickBooks Online.

If your supervisor is already a user and has forgotten their password, I recommend they use the I forgot my username or password option on the Sign-in page to reset their password.
