My two new users receive a message that company or user does not exist, but they are recognized to reset their passwords and receive invitations to Join company

What you've described is an odd situation and the good thing is there's a way to fix this. Since the new users are getting that message, I recommend sending out an invite again. Here's an article which shows you how to invite new users in case you need it for reference:  Add, delete, or change user access.
