Question

Ongoing subscription with Qb Online and been charged on my credit card for my usual monthly amount. When confirming expenses, it tells me my Qb account has expired. Why?

Hello inc1000155474-ou,

Welcome to Community!  Receiving a notation that your QuickBooks Online account has expired, is concerning, when you're account has been paid.  I would be happy to provide some insight her!

If you've signed up for other QuickBooks Online products, using the same email address associated with your main account, all accounts will be listed on your sign-in page.  If any accounts have been cancelled, or fallen inactive, they will remain on your list for one year from the inactive/cancelled date.  QuickBooks Online provides a one year window where you can access your data, or resubscribe at any time during the one year period.  However, it's important to ensure your books are active and aligned with your payment method.

Here's how to check the account status;

1. Go to your Settings ⚙ and select Account and settings

2. Open the Billing and subscription tab

3. Review the account status to ensure you're actively subscribed

If you see that you're subscribed, follow this link to look up the charges being applied to your payment method.

Should you require additional assistance, please contact us outside of Community.  It would be our pleasure to work with you in real-time and review the situation in more depth from our end.

Please feel free to reach out again, with any other questions.  We would be glad to help!
