Question

Our accountant is not able to see the invitation to take over the billing for QBO, even though I am seeing the message "<Accountant> has 2 days to add you...".

We have followed the instructions and tried three times, but they are not seeing the invitation.

I can help you invite your accountant successfully in QuickBooks Online, @stephanii-holmes.

 

Accountant user invites expire after 30 days. If your accountant did not get the invitation, delete the original invite instead of resending it. Follow these steps to remove the pending invitation:

 

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as a primary admin.
  2. Click the Settings icon ⚙ and select Manage users.
  3. Go to the Accounting firms tab.
  4. Look for your accountant firm.
  5. In the Action column, select the small arrow ▼ icon and then Delete. If they see any duplicate invites, also delete those.

 

Now you can send you a new invite. If that doesn't work, try to check the following links for more troubleshooting:
