I have not changed any setting recently in QB and for some reason I no longer have the option to do the two-step verification by e-mail, only by text message. Does anyone know what cause this and how to fix it?

Thanks.

Hello Coolkat2,

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community. It's important you're able to log into your account and I'll be happy to steer you in the right direction.

Based on what you've described, I recommend accessing the back-end of your account so you can log in and verify/update your account info.  You can also turn off the  two-step verification on your account if you'd like. Here are the steps:

1. Sign in to your Intuit account using this URL http://accounts.intuit.com.
2. From the left menu, select Sign In & Security.
3. In the Two-step verification section, select Turn off.
4. Enter the code, then select Continue.
