When I try to add an accountant, the Save button is greyed out and won't allow the Invite

Inviting your accountant to your QuickBooks Online account is the best way to stay organized and ensure your work is getting done. QBO has a simple and straightforward process for adding an accountant to your account, and if you're unable to click Save, this will put a dent in your workflow. If all necessary steps have been followed to invite your accountant and you're still unable to save your changes, there may be a browser-related issue creating unresponsive buttons.

 

Try clearing the cache and cookies in your browser to remove any stored Internet files that may have built up in the background of your browser. Here's how to do that: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online. This will give the browser a reset, which should allow you to click Save.

 

If the issue persists, try using an Incognito window in Google Chrome. This is a private browser that doesn't get impacted by cache and cookies. Here's how to do it: Browse in Private.
