Why does QuickBooks restart when I switch out of it and back into it on my phone

I can almost be done an estimate, then, if I have to switch apps for a second, all my work is lost and I have to start over. This is frustrating because it could be hours of work lost. How do I stop this from happening

Thanks for posting here in the QuickBooks Community about this mobile app concern, @Ryan-Coldwell.

 

I've tried creating some estimates in my mobile app and it retains the last window when I go back after exiting it. For this, I have a couple of suggestions that we can try to get the app in working order. Try to logout from the app, and make sure it is updated to ensure there aren't any app interruptions.

 

Then, refresh the app using the Refresh Data option from the Help menu. This will help download updates or apply recent changes on the application. If refreshing the app doesn't work, try uninstalling and reinstalling it to resolve unexpected behavior, and ensure updated security settings are downloaded.

 

 

If you keep getting the same problem, I highly recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online Care Team. They can check if there are similar reports from other users and help open an investigation on this unexpected behavior.

 

Follow these steps to reach out to a live agent:

 

  1. Go to the Help menu then choose the Search tab.
  2. At the bottom click on Contact us.
  3. Enter the keyword Account Management and Billing in the What can we help you with? box.
  4. On the next screen, scroll down to How would you like to connect with us section.
  5. Choose a contact option to initiate a discussion with a live agent.
