Accidental upgrade of plan

I just upgraded my annual plan to "Plus" thinking that I would get access to the bulk reclassify tool, but I realized that this tool is not available in the Plus plan. Can I downgrade back to my previous annual Essentials plan and get a refund?

I appreciate you reaching out to us in the Community space, @Hosthub.

Yes, you're right. The reclassify tool isn't available in the QuickBooks Online (QBO) Plus plan. Thus, this feature is visible and available in the QBO Advanced and the Accountant subscriptions.

Since this tool isn't present in QBO Plus, you can downgrade your plan back to QBO Essentials. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to QBO as a primary admin.
  2. Go to Settings and select Account and Settings.
  3. Click the Billing & Subscription tab.
  4. Make sure your payment is up to date.
  5. Select Downgrade your plan.
  6. Review the available plans and select Choose a plan.
  7. Follow the on-screen steps to downgrade your plan.

To get a refund of your QuickBooks subscription, I'd recommend reaching out to our Customer Support Team. They have the tools to pull up and look into your account securely and explain the components of how you can get a refund.

Here's how:

  1. In your QBO account, click Help at the top right.
  2. Click the Search tab and click Contact Us.
  3. Enter your concern in the description box and select Continue.
  4. Choose Start a chat or Get a callback.

I've added our support hours so you can set an available time to reach them out.

Moreover, you can check out this article to know what transactions you can and can't reclassify in QuickBooks Online: Reclassify or move multiple transactions at once.

Let me know if you have more queries about reclassifying the transactions tool in QBO. I'd be glad to assist you. Stay safe!
