Account balance not updating

If your account isn't updating automatically, you can refresh its connectivity with QuickBooks by updating it manually.
 

Here's how:
 

  1. In the left navigation bar, go to Banking.
  2. Find and click to the account you're working with.
  3. Select its Update button.

 

After updating, review your account's balance and transactions. In the event its still not updating with new data, I'd recommend signing in to your bank's website and confirming if there's any maintenance or security updates that have taken place.
 

Also keep in mind, if there was any recent changes to your account with the bank, such as its account number, your username, or password, that info will need to be updated in QuickBooks:
 

  1. Go to Bookkeeping, Transactions, then Bank transactions.
  2. Choose an account by clicking its tile.
  3. Use your account's Pencil (📝) icon.


     
  4. Hit Edit sign-in info.
  5. Make any necessary changes.
  6. Save the new information.
