Adding accountant

I sent an invite yesterday morning to my new accountant.  They still have not received the invite.  Does this usually take several days?

Thanks for checking in with us, @LPD1,

 

Normally, when you send an invite in QuickBooks, the user will receive it immediately the same day. Although, there are reasons why a client will not receive or see invitations from Intuit. See the following reasons:

 

  • Invitations are routed to the junk or spam folders.
  • The recipient’s mail servers might be blocking the email.
  • Deleted invites.

To resolve this, have them check their spam folders and see if they are hidden there. If they can't find it there, resend the invitation again using the steps below:

  1. Go to Settings ⚙ icon.
  2. Choose Manage Users.
  3. Find the accountant user you need to invite again.
  4. Select Resend invite in the Action column.

You can also have them add our SPF server hostnames and IP addresses in their computer. You will see them in Step 3 of these article: What to do if invited users did not receive your email invitation
