Adding custom field to QBOL customer/product tables

Hi friends,
I am a new employee with a company who does everything using QuickBooks online.

In the past, I have programmed for Microsoft access etc.
so I am very data-oriented as to say.
Is there a way, in QuickBooks online, to add a custom field to the **product tables** and to the **customer tables**?

    Hello there, Susan.

     

    Are you referring to the Customers and Product and Services pages? If so, the option to add the custom fields to these pages is currently unavailable. You can only add Columns by clicking the Gear icon at the upper right of each page and selecting the box of the available columns.

     

    I can see how having this option would be helpful for you and your business. We'd love to hear your input. I recommend leaving feedback to notify our engineers about the feature you need. This way, they can consider adding it in future updates.

     

    Here's how:

     

    1. Select the Gear icon at the top, then Feedback.
    2. Enter your comments or product suggestions. Then select Next to submit feedback.

     

    You can track feature requests through the QuickBooks Online Feature Requests website.
