Question

Adding new billable items to an existing invoice in the new invoice format

There used to be a little arrow on the upper right of an invoice that opened a right side panel with all open billable items to import into an invoice. I cannot figure out how to add new items to an existing invoice in the new QBO invoice format and I don't see an option to revert to the old format. I'm on a tight deadline to resend updated invoices and this is driving me crazy!!! HELP!!!

Thank you for the update, @LaBelleBooks! It's wonderful to know that you're able to navigate the billable options in the new invoice format in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Upon checking your screenshot, it's correct that you'll have to tick the Automatically show suggested transactions option so you can see the recommended entries to add to your existing invoices.

Additionally, you can check out this article that discusses the new sales form layout in QuickBooks: See what’s new with estimates and invoices in QBO.
