Question

Address and Home Currency do not match

My registered address is in Texas (because my parent company is located there) but my company is based in the Philippines. I turned on multicurrency but I chose Philippine Peso as my Home Currency. After turning it on, my chart of accounts became in USD. But I want it to be in Philippine Peso. How do I fix this problem?

I'll share information on how multicurrency works in QuickBooks Online, Arber.

In QuickBooks, the home currency is usually the currency your business uses for the transactions based on where your business is located. You can change the home currency if needed by going to Settings.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Settings, then select Account and settings.
  2. Select Advanced.
  3. In the Currency section, choose Edit ✎.
  4. From the Home Currency ▼ dropdown, select your currency.
  5. Select the Multicurrency checkbox and confirm that you understand that you can't undo this option.
  6. Select Save.
